How we build your townhouse

Step 1

Contract

With several floorplans to choose from, we’ll guide you through the design process and select a townhouse plan that works for you.

We’ll go through available townhouse products, pricing, home inclusions, and any required upgrades.

We understand that you need more than just a selection in a catalogue. That’s why we work with our high-quality suppliers to ensure you can touch and feel the products before making a decision. You’ll also choose your colour scheme.

Your contract is then created and signed, and your deposit paid. This locks in your project and helps our team prepare your build.

Step 2

Pre-site

This is an important step where we gather all the necessary information needed to submit your permit application.

During this stage your contracts administrator will organise paperwork and obtain your building permit. Your final construction drawings and selections will be provided.

This step usually takes around 10-12 weeks, with your dedicated project contact with you each step of the way.

Step 3

Construction

Construction begins.

This is when your townhouse is built, and generally takes 24 - 52 weeks.

There are five stages within construction, starting from base stage through to final handover.

During the handover stage, final inspections and your certificate of occupancy is issued.

Each stage will be expertly managed by us, while you’re kept updated at every stage.

When final handover day arrives you’ll meet with your contracts administrator on-site so that they can handover the keys.

Step 4

Warranty

Our service doesn’t end just because your townhouse is finished.

We ensure quality and satisfaction through our post-build maintenance service. Any repairs or touch-up requests can be easily submitted via our online portal using your phone. All these requests are managed by our maintenance team.

Our townhouses are designed as a turn-key solution, which means you can move in and enjoy your home as soon as you’ve collected your keys.

We’ll also collect any financial information and finalise any post-contract variations, such as changes to street names. Once your land has settled, you’ll receive an approved building permit along with your final construction drawings and selections.

As specialist townhouse builders, we’ve constructed over 2000 townhouses over the last 19 years. We’ve built a reputation for beautifully designed, open plan layouts made for modern living. Our focus on quality and sustainability, coupled with our excellent customer service ensures you’ll be satisfied with your choice.

  1. Base Stage: The building process begins with laying the concrete slab as the foundation.
  2. Frame Stage: Your new home starts to take shape. Wall frames and roof trusses are constructed, establishing the basic structure.
  3. Lock-up Stage: Brickwork, roof tiles, and external doors and windows are installed so that by the end of this stage, your home exterior will be complete.
  4. Fixing Stage: Interior work begins including: wall and ceiling plastering, skirting boards, architraves, internal doors, and cabinetry in the kitchen, bathrooms, and other areas are installed and any painting is completed.
  5. Handover: Towards the end, a final inspection will be completed by the building surveyor who then issues a certificate of occupancy, if everything is approved. We’ll issue the ‘Notice of Completion’ letter and schedule the Practical Completion Inspection (PCI) with you. After fixing any defects listed in the PCI report, we send the Final Tax Invoice. Once final payment is received, we arrange a handover, where we give you the keys to your new home.
